What features does Relais Villa Sensano have? The Villa consists in 6 self-catering apartments, each equipped with a fully equipped kitchen. The apartments vary in size from 40 to 80 square meters and can accommodate from 2 up to 5 people. Normally they consist of a living room, a kitchen, one or more bedrooms, one or more bathrooms.
Is there an apartment for the disabled person? Yes, the apartment is an open-space composed by a bedroom, a kitchen-living room and a bathroom. It has a reserved entrance for the wheelchair and also a reserved parking space.
What are the check-in and check-out times? Check-in is from 4:00 pm up to 6:30 pm and check-out is within 10:00 am.
What kind of the cancellation policies does the Villa has ? Is a deposit required? For confirming the booking, is required a down payment of 20% of the total while the balance must be paid 15 days before check-in. In case of cancellation less than 30 days from the beginning of the stay, is expected the loss of the down payment. Cancellation less than 15 days from the beginning of the stay or on the day of arrival and non-show, will result in the loss of 100% of the rent.
Is there a parking available for the guests? Which is its cost? It is possible to use the private parking of the Villa for free.
Is it possible to bring animals? Which size? Is there an additional cost? The structure accepts animals of any size a supplement is required at the end of the stay. Obviously a dog owner must bear in mind that he shares common areas with other customers, so he has to respect the place and also them.
Does the property provide bed linens and towels? Yes, they are included in the reservation. Extra changes during the stay are subject to charges.
How is possible to reach the structure? by what means? It is essential to have a car as the area is not covered by the public service. The property is 13 km from San Gimignano and 15 km from Volterra.
Are there trekking trails that can be do in the area? Yes, there are several marked trails, including the Castel Vecchio Reserve.

Is there half board service? No, the property only provides breakfast service for a fee and upon reservation of the day before. There are many typical restaurants in the area.
Are there supermarkets or shops on site? No, the nearest supermarkets / shops are located in Volterra or San Gimignano. However, there is a small shop (Emporium) with basic food items inside the Reception. On request, is possible to supply typical local products.
Is the payment of the tourist tax required? Yes, the city of Volterra requires the payment of the tourist tax, which consists of € 2 per person per night, for a maximum of 3 consecutive nights. Children under 12 are exempt from the tax.
Is there a shuttle from Pisa airport or a taxi for transfers? Upon guest’s request the Reception can book taxis to reach the various locations in Tuscany.
Can the Villa book visits to Tuscan museums on behalf of the client? Yes, our Reception can provide this service, including advice on what to visit and where to eat.
