We have just come back from 13 nights at Villa Sensano for our summer holidays! This is the 3rd stay we have had at the villa and no doubt we will have many many more in the future. The grounds are amazing – peaceful, quiet and with awesome views of the changing landscape. We had much more “downtime” at the villa this year to just simply enjoy the surroundings.
But we did do many drives on the Chianti Wine Road – Castello di Ama, Castello di Brolio, Castello di Verrazzano, Castello di Volpai just to name a few. We also had many day trips to hill towns and villages – Badia di Passignano, Greve, Montefioralle, Panzano, to name a few.
We also had a very special dinner in the new michelin star restaurant in San Gimigiano Cum Quibus – what an experience.
