I had two days in which to find separate apartment accommodation for three couples.
My brief was : best price, taking exchange rates into account, preferably little dog friendly and within typical Tuscan rural environment, to show it off to first time visitors to the area.
Within an hour or two of placing the “enquiry” email, Federica of Villa Sensano called me up. She and Lavinia were charming and very helpful with arranging the right type of accommodation for our party’s size and needs.
Their beautiful old, large villa has been lovingly, (recently and expensively) renovated, top to bottom. each of the apartments (we booked one double apartment, and one double + twin) were very spacious, comfortable and the kitchen in ours was huge and well stocked. The gardens were gorgeous with a lot of attention to layout taken into account.
I didn’t experience the jacuzzi, but our friends did and they enjoyed it a good deal. Federica and Lavinia were always most pleasant and welcoming – extremely eager to establish their new villa for future tourist travellers.
