Dream holiday in the Tuscan countryside: relaxation and comfort at Villa Sensano
We’ve just returned from two weeks of pure relaxation at Relais Villa Sensano, a true corner of paradise nestled in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, between the hills of Volterra and San Gimignano. We were looking for a place perfect for a family with children, and here we found everything we wanted: tranquillity, nature, and comfort. We stayed in the Laurence apartment, spacious and welcoming — perfect for our large family. Located in a private, independent dependance, it was ideal for us, especially with three energetic little girls! Each morning we explored the wonderful trails of Val d’Elsa, walking through vineyards and olive groves, while the afternoons were spent at the splendid panoramic swimming pool — large, spotless, and perfect for cooling off under the Tuscan sun. The gardens of Villa Sensano are truly enchanting: beautifully maintained, fragrant with flowers and aromatic plants. The layout of the spaces is perfect, ensuring privacy and peace for every guest. A special thanks to Federica and Lavinia, always friendly, attentive, and excellent hosts who made us feel genuinely welcome. Highly recommended for families and couples looking for an authentic holiday in Tuscany! We will definitely be back next summer.
